Keywords:
Environmental knowledge, environmental awareness, waste managementAbstract
This study aims to analyze the level of students' environmental knowledge and its relationship with environmental care attitudes in waste management. Considering the important role of the younger generation in preserving the environment, this study conducted a literature review of various studies that have been conducted previously. Data shows that adequate knowledge of environmental issues, including waste management, contributes significantly to improving students' caring attitudes. This knowledge includes an understanding of the types of waste, the impacts of pollution, and good waste management practices. Although some studies show an increase in environmental awareness There is still a gap in the application of this caring attitude in everyday life. This study concludes that effective environmental education and planned intervention programs students' level of knowledge and caring attitude towards the environment, thereby encouraging more responsible waste management practices.
