Avocado (Persea americana) contains natural antioxidants beneficial for skin health. This study aims to formulate an avocado-based handbody as an alternative natural moisturizer rich in antioxidants. The research involved selecting ripe avocado fruits, extracting the pulp, and incorporating the extract into a handbody cream base using standard emulsification techniques. Organoleptic tests, pH measurements, spreadability tests, and antioxidant activity assessments were conducted to evaluate product quality. The resulting handbody exhibited stable consistency, acceptable pH for skin use, good spreadability, and significant antioxidant activity. These findings indicate that avocado extract can serve as an effective natural ingredient for moisturizing formulations, offering an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic products. The study has implications for the development of sustainable, plant-based skincare products that utilize locally available resources to promote natural beauty care practices.
